1981

Jelma is founded

On July 21, 1981, the family-owned Jelma Marketing begins its humble journey in affordable, reliable topical medicine.

1982

The exclusive partnership

White Flower Oil becomes a household necessity, and Jelma becomes its official and exclusive importer, repacker, and distributor nationwide.

The legacy continues. Mr. Gan Geok Eng, the founder, and Mr. Lao Hian Chioc, the original Philippine distributor, handed the mission to Jimmy J. Lao — eldest son of Mr. Lao Hian Chioc and today the President & CEO of Jelma Philippines Inc., carrying White Flower Oil to every corner of the nation.
